Co. Roscommon V.E.C. have two PLC centres, one in Boyle and one in Roscommon Town. Both centres provide a wide range of courses that are certified by F.E.T.A.C. – a F.E.T.A.C. award would improve your chances of obtaining a place in third level. These courses are grant aided, subject to a means test.

Youthreach in Ballaghaderreen, provides educational opportunities for young people who have not obtained Leaving/Junior Certificate. Travel is provided so that Youthreach is available all over the county.
