CHILDCARE COURSE

The aim of this course is to provide a strong foundation for a Career in Caring for Children. 
It advocates a safe, caring and competent approach to working with children while also 
encouraging an awareness of a child's needs.  Essential for work in the Childcare/Montessori area.

Students are required to pass eight modules in order to obtain a F.E.T.A.C. Award 

Students on the course may be eligible for the P.L.C. grant to the maximum of €3,400 per annum. 
Depending on your income you may also be eligable for the top up Grant and the Back to Education Allowance of €250.  
This grant is means tested.

ELIGIBILITY
Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied Qualifications.  Mature students who wish to return to Full Time Education
do not require prior qualifications.  All students will be interviewed.
