The following Grant Schemes are administered by County Roscommon V.E.C. 

TLT Scheme.
VEC Scholarship Scheme.
Post Leaving Certificate Grant Scheme.

TLT Scheme caters for students who are attending two year National Certificate 
and three year Ordinary Degree courses, pursued in the Institutes of Technology.

VEC Scholarship Scheme caters for students who hold a national certificate or ordinary degree (gained from attendance 
at courses covered under the TLT scheme) and progressing to approved honours degree courses in third level institutions, 
including Universities.  It also caters for students pursuing honours degrees in Institutes of Technology, 
students progressing to approved degree courses in third level institutions in other EU member states.  
Postgraduate studies in Ireland are also covered.

Post Leaving Certificate Grant Scheme caters for students who are entering an approved full time 
Post Leaving Certificate courses at approved PLC Centres.

The Student Grant Application Form 2010/2011 and Guidance Notes 
are now available to be downloaded by clicking on the link below:

It is envisaged that the 2010/2011 Grant Schemes including income limits and grant rates
 will be available from the Department of Education and Science shortly.

A Student Information Handbook is also available, which contains useful information for students
 and parents/guardians plus frequently asked questions regarding third level grant aid.
