INTERNET SAFETY & CYBER BULLYING

The Department of Education has provided some information on some of the dangers associated with using the internet.  This information can be found at www.makeITsecure.org This site contains a lot of information to assist parents and their children on the use of the internet.

The Government has set up the Office of Internet Safety which is an executive office of the Department of Justice.  This office takes a lead responsibility for internet safety particularly as it relates to children.  The web address for this office is www.internetsafety.ie
