Youthreach provides education and training programmes to young people who have left school without adequate qualifications.  
Normally trainees are between 15 and 20 and have left school without 5 D's in their Junior Certificate.  
Education and Training courses are provided in a small group, informal, workshop settings.

Subjects include: Woodwork, Metalwork, Art, English, Maths, Hairdressing, Childcare, Computers, Cooking, Outdoor Pursuits, 
Personal Development, Work Experience and preparation for Work.  
Courses are certified using the following certification methods: F.E.T.A.C. foundation certificate, F.E.T.A.C. Level 1 Certificate, 
F.E.T.A.C. Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Hairdressing, Leaving Certificate Applied and Junior Certificate.

Transport (free) is provided from Castlerea, Elphin, Boyle and places in between.

Childcare payments are made to childminders.

Youthreach is funded and supported by the European Social Fund and the Department of Education and Science.
